How does the IDAS-Laser™ work?
The highly concentrated green light generated by the IDAS™ laser penetrates the uppermost layers of the skin with pinpoint accuracy, while it is absorbed in the affected vessels, primarily in the red blood cells. The erythrocytes transfer this absorbed heat to the vessel wall, which is then permanently obliterated from the inside. The disturbing vessels and veins disappear as a result. The surrounding tissue is spared as it does not absorb the rays.
Flexible and ultra-short pulses in combination with the high power of the laser enable the treatment of all skin types as well as numerous skin and vascular changes. With 8 watts of power, IDAS™ is one of the most powerful laser systems on the market.
How does laser treatment with IDAS™ work?
After cleansing the skin, the corresponding area is treated precisely with the green light laser. This usually takes a few minutes. Glasses are worn to protect the eyes.
If necessary, the treated area of the face or body is cooled for a few minutes after the session and a nourishing cream is applied to further soothe the skin.
The appearance of redness, slight swelling and fine crusts on the treated skin areas is possible in the following hours and days. The skin heals completely after about one to two weeks.
